Installation of Mekashron Call Center Software

(Server Installation)

In order to be able to install the Mekashron Call Center Software, you need to obtain a copy of the installation file. You can point your browser's address to Mekashron's website or simply click on the link provided for you. This is depicted in the below image. Please note that the browser that is used is FireFox. You can use any other web-browser at your disposal, such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
You can download Mekashron Call Center Software either through our website or by clicking on this direct link that will take you to the download page. After an estimated time of 5 seconds, your download process should start. This is depicted below. Simply click on the Save button to start the process.
After having downloaded our software, you will have to click on the Open button as shown above to the right. After than, you need to locate this file (usually could be downloaded to your Desktop, depending on your settings). Our software, by default, will be downloaded with the name "mekashroncallcenter.exe" or if you could also see it as "mekashroncallcenter" depending on your settings. The icon of the file is given below. Double click on this icon on your computer to start the setup process:
By double-clicking (or pressing Enter) on the above icon, owr software will start its intuitive installation process. The first window that you will be presented with is the Language-Selection. This window allows you to choose amongst 5 differnet languages that will be chosen as the base language throughout the setup process. After having chosen your language, click on the OK button. Note that your Windows Operating system might also bring up a "Security Window" asking for your permission if you would really like to run our software. You can press on the Run button when presented with that window as depicted below, to the left:
You must have now been sent to the second window of the setup wizard process. In this window, we provide you with specific version-number information about our product. The version being installed, as shown below, is Mekashron Call Center 3.1. Click the Next button in this window to be redirected to the next window of the setup-process.
In order to be able to use our software, you must agree to our license-agreement. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you read through the license agreement page that you will be presented with. You will be given a chance to agree or disagree to these terms and conditions. Initially and by default, it is assumed that you have no inclination towards accepting these terms and conditions. If you believe you agree with these terms, please choose the I accept the agreement radio-button. After doing this, the Next button will be enabled and thus you will be able to click on this button.
By pressing Next in the above figure, you will be sent to the next page of our setup-wizard. In this step of the wizard, you will be asked for the default installation directory of Mekashron Call Center Software. By default, our software attempts to install itself in the directory "C:\Program Files\Mekashron\Mekashron Business". However, you are now given a chance to change this path to another one (if you know exactly what you are doing). If you believe you are better-off giving the setup-process a chance to complete the job without your interference, please click on the Next button at the bottom right side of the page as shown below:
Clicking on the Next button in the above step of the setup will send you to the next step that allows you to choose between the client or the server version of the installation. One of the differneces between these two types of installation is that in the server installation, the MySQL program will also be installed in your computer while for the client-installation, this does not happen. You have to leave the settings in this page as they are (baring in mind that the Server Installation is chosen). You can now click on the Next button in this page to be forwarded to the next page of the setup process. Please also note that we have chosen the name "Master" instead of "Server". In other words, "Master" installation is the same as the "Server" installation.
In this step of the setup process, you will be given an option to choose what name should be given to the group that our software creates in your Start Menu. A group is simply a folder that acts as a shortcut to a program, in the start-menu. If you believe you prefer our program to be given a differnet name than it is already given (Mekashron), change the name according to your preferences. If you believe this name is sufficiently relevant, click on the Next button as shown below.
After you have clicked on the Next button in the above step of the setup-process, you will be sent to the second-to-last page of the setup process. In this page, you will be asked whether or not you prefer Mekashron Call Center Software to have a short-cut on your desktop also. A short-cut to our program makes it easier for your to execute it whenever you need it. The default setting is for the software to have a shortcut on your desktop. If you believe you are not comfortable with this accessability feature, feel free to uncheck the Create a desktop icon check-box. After you are done, please click on the Next button.
You are now at the last step of the setup-process. You can now click on the Install button at the bottom right side of the page to start the installation process. As you can see, a summary of your selections in the previous steps of the code is given to you in the center of the window as depicted below.
By clicking on the Install button, the installation process will begin to install Mekashron Call Center Software on your machine as a server. This is depicted below:
After the setup process has done its job, you will be presented with presented with a setup-completion window as shown below. You can simply click on the Finish button in this window. Congratulations! You now have successfully installed Mekashron Call Center Software for Servers on your computer.
After the setup has done its job, it will attempt to run the MySQL services on your computer. Please note that if you have a firewall installed on your computer, you will be prompted with (usually) a window asking for your permission to whether allow or decline MySQL's access over the network. Note that the you will be given a choice of whether to accept or decline this application's access over the network. Of course, if you want Mekashron Call Center Software to be able to use MySQL as its back-end RDBMS, you can trust the MySQL service and allow it to gain access on the network
After the installation process is over, your will see the Mekashron Call Center Software window open for the first time. This window is depicted below.Here you are given an opportunity to set the default username and password for your server-installation of Mekashron Call Center Software. As it is indicated by the red-label at the bottom of the window, it is recommended that you do not change this setting and simply click on the Login button to the bottom right of the screen.
After clicking on the Login button on the above window, you will be presented with another window that gives you an option to buy the full-version of Mekashron Call Center Software. However, for testing purposes, you can use our software for 30 days in trial mode. This is shown below. By clicking on the Continue Trial button to the right bottom of the page you will be given a chance to try the trial version of our software. If you believe, at any time, that you would like to buy the full licensed version of our software, you can click on the Order button that is shown in bold, in the below window.
Congratulations! You now have successfully and thoroughly installed the Mekashron Call Center Software trial version on your computer. The main window of our software is depicted below.
